With its 17 000 hectares, the Park is today the largest Natural Reserve in mainland France. Within this wilderness environment you will find the highest point of the Vercors, “le Grand Veymont”, at an altitude of 2,341 metres.
Water is limited in this vast mountain landscape and only unattended mountain cabins are available.
Please be aware that mountain biking access is restricted across the high plateaux by following the GTV alternative route.
